Moong dal and Urad dal dosa


Ingredients:
Urad Dal or Menapapu ½ Cup
Moong dal or Pesara papu 1 Cup
Chopped onion 1 medium sized
Green chilies fine chopped 3
Ginger finely chopped 1 inch piece
Salt as needed
Oil for making dosas

Preparation:
1. Soak Moong dal and Urad dal in water for 6 to 8 hours. In a mixie or blender grind them together to a smooth batter by adding little water. Dosas can be made with fresh batter. Add salt and mix well.
2. Heat a tawa spread the batter into 6 inch circular  dosas, spread onion, green chili and ginger pieces on the dosa and  put ½ teaspoon or one teaspoon oil  around the dosa.
3. Flip it over and roast it to light greenish golden in color. Fermented the left over batter and make the dosas next day.
