Pains in the joints like knees, hips and joints may be caused due to Vaata dosha.
The precautions that can be taken are:
1. Fresh food should be taken.
2. Chew food for about 20 times. This avoids indigestion problem.3. Eat dinner early at about 7 PM and sleep atleast after 2 hours.
4. Avoid non-vegetarian foods.5. Use diluted butter milk instead of curd.
6. Massage with oils like Maha Narayana Tailam in the areas of pain.
7. Don't use cold water.
